* Marc Regenhardt, General manager, Global Customer GroupAmericas, Swamp United States

Marc Regenhardt is the general manager of the Global Client Group for Marsh Credit Specialties. He is responsible for business development and support of global credit insurance programs for multinational companies in the Americas.

Mark joined Marsh in 2019 when they merged with Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group (JLT), one of the world’s leading insurance and reinsurance companies. Based at London, JLT was one of the largest credit and political risk brokerage firms in the world. At JLT, Mark was part of the senior management team responsible for credit, structured credit and political risk in United States.

Prior to joining JLT, Mark was a managing partner and board member for 18 years with the firm of International Risk Consultants, Inc. (IRC), a leading global company specializing in domestic risk, export credit and political risk insurance products. JLT bought IRC in 2018.

Prior to joining IRC, Mark worked for five years at Motorola Inc., where he held various finance and credit management positions, one of which led to an expatriate assignment at Sao Paulo, Brazil. Mark was responsible for the formation of two international credit departments and the implementation of several trade finance programs supported by credit insurance in Latin America.

* Aaron Rutstein, Vice President – Regional Director, Risk Services – Americas, Atradius

Aaron was appointed to the position of vice president and regional director, Risk Services Americas in July 2018. In this leadership role, Aaron is responsible for Atradius’ risk underwriting activities in North and South America, including the Caribbean. Aaron has been involved in all facets of risk in credit insurance since entering the industry in 2003, spanning roles in business development, information gathering and risk underwriting. In 2014, he became risk manager for a non-can carrier start-up. He joined Atradius in 2016 as VP Senior Manager – we, Caribbean, and the subscription of Central American buyers.

* Gordon Cessford, Regional director – Americas, Atradius

Gordon Cessford was appointed to the position of Regional Director of Atradius Trade Credit Insurance, Inc. in October 2019. In this leadership role, he is responsible for Atradius’ commercial activities throughout United States, Canada and Mexico work to develop local markets, maintain relationships with customers, brokers and staff and achieve strategic objectives.

Prior to Atradius Trade Credit Insurance, Inc., Gordon joined Atradius in 2017 where, more recently, he was Atradius’ commercial director in hong kong, overseeing operations in the Asia-Pacific region.

Gordon has a long track record of success in banking and financial services. He has spent more than two decades in the credit insurance industry, where he held various positions including commercial manager and regional sales manager for major credit insurers. In these roles, he was responsible for all aspects of business, customer and sales strategies in 12 markets and helped grow the credit insurance market and business portfolio.

Gordon was born in Scotland and studied in Scotland and New Zealand.

* Dan Bakle, Marsh Specialty Insurance

Dan Bakle focuses on financing solutions for banks and merchants with a propensity for unique, difficult or unusual structures. In 1996, Dan began his career as a credit insurance broker. He worked from London in 1999 then New York in 2002. Dan earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Ohio State University.

* Christophe Letondot, Marsh Specialty Insurance

Christophe Letondot is the managing director of Marsh Specialty Insurance. His team is made up of 60 colleagues specializing in commercial credit, political risk, structured credit and financial risk products in the we and Canada. He has 15 years of experience as an alternative risk transfer underwriter with major insurance companies. He has underwritten various credit structures, including multinational commercial credit programs, credit derivative portfolios, asset-backed securities portfolios and residual value insurance for durable assets. He completed hybrid insurance protections by combining insurance and capital market structures and products.
