The Department of Banking and Finance brings together internationally renowned academics who undertake research and teach a wide range of topics related to banking and finance. The Department is supported by two research centres: the Center for Digital Finance and the Center for Empirical Research in Finance and Banking, where staff are actively engaged in interdisciplinary research.

About you

As an associate professor, you will play a central role in planning and shaping a research area in the banking and finance department. You will bring to the position a strong professional reputation, including the ability to produce world-class research through a sustained publication record in leading international academic journals. You may have led major funding offers, set up and managed the resources needed to complete the research plan. You will act as a leader and ambassador for us through management and business or other engagement activities.

You will be an experienced educator with a proven track record of high quality teaching, able to contribute to the development of educational policy and practice, and able to design and develop courses and programs at all levels (UG, MSc and MBA levels ). You will be an experienced researcher capable of supervising doctoral students (PhD and DBA programs).

Your leadership skills will be evident, whether through your research, education, or leadership role. You will have proven your ability to innovate and to engage and inspire students and colleagues, helping to build a strong university community.
