SDNY COURTHOUSE, May 2 – Thomas Pilgrim has sued Capital One for violating the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
On May 2, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Judge Jed S. Rakoff, held a hearing. Inner City Press has it covered.
Pilgrim says someone used his information to open an account with Capital One, and the damage to his credit history continues.
Now, amended pleadings must be filed by May 12, with a final pre-trial scheduled for September 28.
The case is Pilgrim v. Experian Information Solutions, Inc. et al., 22-cv-1911 (Rakoff)
