Stolen credit card used in Peterborough home burglary, police say – Peterborough

Peterborough Police are looking for a person of interest following a residential break-in in the city on Tuesday.

According to the Peterborough Police Department, a number of items, including wallets, were reported stolen following a break and enter at a residence in the Weller Street and Park Street North area.

Police learned that a credit card had been used without authorization at a store in the Burnham Street and Hunter Street East area.

Officers surveyed the residential neighborhood and the area around the store with negative results.

The person of interest is described as a thin to medium build Caucasian female who wore a green jacket with the hood up, a green scarf, a green dress, black flip flops, and carried a backpack (which may have been worn under the jacket).
